Short answer:
Within 5 business days of successful payment, provided the applicable payout threshold has been reached.
How first payouts work
Your first payout follows a simple, multi-step process to ensure your contract is fully set up and mining correctly.
Step 1: Payment is confirmed
Payment is confirmed and your contract becomes eligible for activation. Timing depends on the selected payment method and any required blockchain or processor confirmations.
Step 2: Your contract is activated
Hashrate is assigned and your contract is marked Active. Contract activation generally occurs within 1-5 business days after payment confirmation.
Step 3: Mining activity is measured
The system begins calculating Gross Mining Output and applicable deductions.
Step 4: The payout requirement is met
Your calculated Net Mining Output must reach the threshold for your selected wallet type.
A payout is sent once your balance reaches:
The system’s default payout threshold, or
A custom payout threshold you selected in your dashboard
Step 5: Bitcoin is transferred
Ridgeline sends the payout to your designated wallet. Ownership transfers at that time.
If the applicable threshold has not been reached, the calculated Net Mining Output remains pending until the threshold is met or the contract reaches expiration or termination and the final-payout provisions apply.
Why payouts may take slightly longer
You may not see a payout immediately if:
Your Net Mining Output has not yet reached the payout threshold
Network fees temporarily increase, affecting minimum payout amounts
Weekends or holidays delay business-day processing
Need help?
You can check your contract status, mining performance, payout address, or payout threshold settings anytime in your User Dashboard. If you believe your payout is delayed beyond the expected window, contact support and include your contract ID.
